HONG KONG - Silversea Cruises announced yesterday the official opening of its Asia regional office, further showcasing its commitment to the Asian market.
“We see enormous potential for growth in Asia and expect to expand rapidly in the coming
years.” said Steve Odell, SVP - Asia Pacific.
Acting as the regional hub for Asian sales development and travel agent support, Silversea’s Singapore office will work with dedicated travel agents across the region to facilitate bookings aboard Silversea’s fleet of four luxury cruise ships.
Markets covered by the Singapore Regional Office will include: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines, PRC, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea. Japan will continue to report directly to Steve Odell in Sydney due to its size and unique business needs.
Melvyn Yap, regional director - Asia leads the team in Singapore. He joined Silversea in 2004.
