INDIA - Tourists in India may face a nightmare with their international credit cards, if it is not issued in India. For, several online travel sites have refused to entertain credit cards issued abroad.
“As per the global rules governing master cards and visa cards, we have to refund the amount to the actual owner of the credit card, who comes to know of the fraud subsequently when he or she receives the bill,” said Nikhil Rungta, head of marketing, yatra.com.
