Paul Leung Yiu Lam President, Hong Kong Inbound Travel Association

PAUL Leung is a true veteran having delved in almost every major aspect of the tourism industry. He currently holds many numerous high profile offices namely, the President of Hong Kong Inbound Travel Association and Managing Director of Holiday World Tours and Director, Travel Industry Council. He also was the honorable advisor, Tourism and Sports Committee of the Senate, Kingdom ofThailand.

George Harb Marketing Director, Galileo byTravelPort

GEORGE Harb can be described as a international citizen, being an avid and frequent user of travel content and having lived in Australia, USA, Singapore and Hong Kong. His work, meanwhile, has brought him to most countries in Europe, Middle East, North America and across Asia. Today George is the Marketing Director, Asia-Pacific for Galileo by Travelport. Before joining Travelport, he was Product and Strategic Marketing Director for Asia Netcom a globalTelecommunication services company.

Susan Teng Managing Director, WorldwideHoney Tours

Susan Teng began her career as a tour guide and quickly learned the ropes of inbound and outbound operations and ticketing. In 1991, she became the Managing Director of Worldwide Honey Tours, Pte. Ltd. She continues her own professional development and contributes to excellence in the travel industry as the Outbound Chairman for the National Association of Travel Agentsin Singapore and as Vice-President of the Women’s Travel Club. Teng also sits on theboard of SWAS (Singapore Wellness andSpa Association) as their InternationalLiaison Director. She enjoys practicingyoga and mediation and has alsoachieved level 2 in Reiki.

George Booth Director of Sales, IntegratedTourism Service

GEORGE Booth was instrumental in establishing Vacations International, WA’s first travel wholesaler, in 1969. Following its sale, George went on to become Regional Manager for Qantas Holidays and was actively involved in contracting duties in South-East Asia. Booth has been on the national board and was State Chairman of AFTA; and served two years as Chairman of the Western Australian Tourism Industry Association During his career, Booth has travelled frequently and extensively and has a thorough destination knowledge as well as innumerable contacts with hoteliers, airline personnel and groundoperators in many countries.

Charles TeeCEO, T3E Global

HAVING 23 years of varied, successproven experience in the hospitality and service industries, Charles Tee is now the CEO of T3E Global, in on-line travel, corporate travel management, hotels & resorts, leisure and tourism, Tourism and Technology Enterprise providing business development, marketing and strategic planning support to travel, tourism, online & e-travel businesses and hospitality companies. He was also Chairman of Society of Incentive Travel Executives, Singapore Chapter and Chief OperatingOfficer Asia for Wotif.com

Karman Yeung President, Landmark HotelMacau & The Rocks Hotel Macau

KARMAN Yeung is currently the President of The Landmark, Macau and Rocks Hotel He was conferred the honorary PhD degree in Business Management by Trinity International University and the Fellowship member of Association of Business Management Academics in 2006. Karman has held a variety of upper level management positions including general manager with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Regent Hong Kong. Karman is actively involved in the promotion of Macau as a travel destination with MacauGovernment Tourism Office, SAR.

Robert KhooChief Executive, NATAS

ROBERT Khoo first got involved in the travel industry in 1975, with his brother, in a start up, Universal Travel Corporation Pte Ltd where he was Managing Director for 25 years. At the turn of the millennium he joined NATAS as a full-time Chief Executive. He is renowned for his involvement regionally as well as locally, as the former President of the Federation of Asean Travel Associations (FATA and having served as a Board Member of then Singapore Tourist Promotion Board (STPB), National Parks Board andSingapore Arts Museum.

Ni Hui General Manager China TravelService Head Office

NI Hui is no stranger to the business aspect of the tourism industry. Once the General Manager of Beijing World vision business travel service, he is an expert of the niche market of corperate business travel service. Currently as the GM of MICE Head Office China, he is responsible for all planning, budget making and decision-making, coordinating with other BU andmanagement of CTS HO.

Glenn de Souza, Vice President, International Operations Asia - Best WesternInternational

FOR the past 25 years, he has held senior corporate and regional sales and marketing positions for various international hotel companies. De Souza has extensive international travel expertise and relationships with leading travel agencies, tour operators and multinational accounts. Glenn de Souza joined Best Western in April of 2002 as a regional operations manager at the Best Western Asia Head Office in Bangkok. In 2003, he was named managing director – Asia, and subsequently he became vice president of International Operations, Asia in 2005. Glenn works closely with William Dong, the chief representative for Greater China, who oversees the branding effortsin China.

Gerhard H. Zimmer General manager, Sofitel Wanda Beijing, General ManagerDelegate Accor Beijing

GERHARD Zimmer is the general manager of Sofitel Wanda Beijing and concurrently general manager Delegate for Accor Hotels in Beijing. Zimmer graduated from Cornell University. For the past 15 years, he has been a senior executive of Accor and is vastly experienced in the development and opening of New Hotels having successfully headed the take-over and re-branding of several Hotels in China. In 2003 he headed the successful opening of the Sofitel Boao, which is the permanent seat of the Boao Forum for Asia. With 38 years of rich experience in the business in Asia and part of Accor’s Senior Management team he opened the latest Sofitel Brand Flagship Hotel in China the Platinum StandardSofitel Wanda Beijing.
