SINGAPORE – Singaporeans and residents have another fortnight to send their wishes and invite loved ones overseas to visit Singapore through Project Postcard 2007. Originally slated to end on November 30, it is being extended due to good participation, and in response to requests for the campaign to coincide with the year-end holiday season.
To date, over 195,000 postcards and about 15,000 e-cards have been submitted since the project’s launch on 8 October, addressed to countries such as Austria, Australia, Bulgaria, Cayman Islands, China, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, the Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, South Africa, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, USA, UK, Ukraine, Vietnam and Yemen, among others.
All postcards are entered into a lucky draw where participants stand to win attractive prizes, including free trips for recipients to visit Singapore. The first draw was held on November 12, while the second, which was scheduled for today, will now be held on December 24.
