BANGKOK – About 580 buyers from over 50 countries are expected to head for the Asean Tourism Forum’s Travel Exchange (Travex), which kicked off today, where some 440 seller organisations await them.
Travex’s strength lies in the quality and variety of products.
“When you’re selling Asia to your customers, this is a very good platform to see all the new products especially with the market being more niche,” said Nidhi Kapur, director of Vietrade Tours & Travel in India. “More and more suppliers are taking part in ATF and it gives you a good opportunity to interact. You know the new products that are available and how the trends are changing.”
