ITB Asia calls for more SME sign-ups

Daily news, 31 Jan 2008

SINGAPORE – Since the MOU was signed between Messe Berlin and Singapore Tourism Board in April 2007, significant developments has been made for ITB Asia.

ITB Asia has seen stronger than expected demand from the international travel industry.

Martin Buck, Director of Messe Berlin Singapore said, “We are pleased to have confirmed more than a hundred exhibitors from 32 countries, more than ten months in advance of the event.”

ITB Asia will put a strong focus on Asian buyers and sellers and will be held at Suntec Singapore from October 22 to 24, 2008.

The emphasis now is to sign up more sellers from small and medium sized companies especially those from adventure travel, diving, educational and medical-aesthetics.

There will be a special tabletop plus year-round presence for SMEs at the ITB Asia website for only US$1,500.
