Global Vacation celebrates first year anniversary with three-day sale

Daily news, 14 Apr 2008

SINGAPORE – Asia Global Vacation, the budget division of Chan Brothers Travel, is celebrating its first year anniversary with a three-day travel sale from Friday to Sunday, April 18-20, 2008 at its People’s Park Centre office here.

“Asia Global Vacation was set up as the budget division of Chan Brothers Travel to appeal to price-sensitive and deal-driven consumers. To keep prices low, tour itineraries are largely packaged with three-star accommodation and second-line or budget carriers,” Chan Guat Cheng, executive director of Chan Brothers Travel, who provided the critical acumen and impetus for Asia Global Vacation’s success, said.

“We want consumers to get the best bargain for every holiday trip, so they can travel further and more frequently for lesser dollars. Our success can be entirely attributed to astute customers who appreciate our products and values, hence offering them continued excellence in value is our way of thanking them for their support,” Chan added.

Travel deals to be offered include regional package tours starting at S$238 (about US$175), new Chinese-speaking long-haul tours to Europe starting at S$2,999 (US$2,204), Asia family deals where kids stay and tour for free, and special four- to seven-day tour packages for senior citizens starting at S$398 (about US$ 292).
