ZURICH – Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts has opened its third hotel in China. Following in the wake of the two existing hotels in Beijing and Kunshan, the new five-star deluxe hotel extends the hotel chain’s portfolio of Swiss heritage in China.
“China is an extremely important market for us and is enjoying steady growth”, Meinhard Huck, president Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts, said. “We have successfully operated a hotel at the centre of Beijing for many years, and are now delighted to the able to offer our guests Swiss hospitality of the highest standard in the metropolis of Shanghai.”
The 467-room property is located in the city’s Jing’An quarter.
