BARCELONA – Following the success of EIBTM 2007, a record number of exhibitors have rebooked their stands for this year’s event at the Fira Gran Via here from December 2-4, 2008. A substantial number have also secured extra space, highlighting the event’s reputation in the international meetings industry calendar and confirming EIBTM as a leading business platform.
Turkish Culture & Tourism is taking an extra 140 sqm, while the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has confirmed an extra 127 sqm, increasing their stand space by over 30 percent. Munich, following its first ever participation at EIBTM last year with stand-alone representation, has already anticipated increased interest by expanding its stand size by 25 percent.
New exhibitors already confirmed include the Valencia Convention Bureau, Rodos Tours and Sharjah.
