Marriott to manage golf resort and convention centre in Bangalore

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Marriott International announcement yesterday that the company will manage a 300-room golf resort, spa, and convention center in Bangalore, India, under an agreement reached with Prestige Estates Projects Private Limited.

The Bangalore Marriott Golf Resort & Convention Center at Nandi Hills, which will open in 2012, will be part of a 300-acre, mixed-use project in the city’s Nandi Hills area, approximately 10 kilometers from the airport. The project will also consist of a first-class 18-hole golf course and a residential community comprised of approximately 225 single-family homes.
