BWI opens new hotel in Hirosaki, Japan

Daily news, 22 Apr 2008

BANGKOK – Best Western International (BWI) has opened the Best Western Hotel Newcity Hirosaki in northern Japan. The modern 134-room, 12-story hotel is incorporated in a shopping mall complex building adjacent to JR Hirosaki Railway Station.

The new property has banquet facilities for 400-seat and 600-cocktail reception capacities, F&B outlets and a coffee lounge.

“We are very excited to add the Best Western Hotel Newcity Hirosaki to our growing Asian portfolio. The hotel is located in the heart of the cultural city. Guests have an opportunity to experience the beautiful nature and seasons of Hirosaki, as skiing, fishing, and golfing are conveniently located within 15 kilometers of the hotel,” Glenn de Souza, BW VP International Operations Asia, said.
