Novotel Beijing West Zhongguancun appoints GM

PARIS – Accor has recently appointed Neil Blenkharn as general manager of Novotel Beijing West Zhongguancun, which is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2008.

Blenkharn was previously managing the five-star star beach front Garden Cliff Resort & Spa Pattaya by Sofitel in Thailand. During his 11 year tenure with Accor, Blenkharn also managed properties in Bangkok, Narita, Tokyo, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.

Previous international assignments include hotels in Britain Canada, Hong Kong, Macau and USA. Blenkharn holds British, Canadian and Australian citizenships and graduated with a degree in Hotel Management from Oxford Brookes University in England.
