MAS launches everyday low fares

SUBANG – Malaysia Airlines (MAS) yesterday launched Everyday Low Fares, offering 1 million zero fares for all its domestic destinations.

Everyday Low Fare tickets are available online and must be purchased at least 30 days before departure. Tickets are non-refundable and non-rebookable. All fares, excluding airport tax and surcharges, are RM76 (about US$24.15) one-way for domestic travel and RM120 (about US$ 38.11) one-way for travel between West and East Malaysia.

MAS’ five-star services are offered with the fares, including on-board refreshments, convenient schedules, on-time departures, 20kg baggage allowance and allocated seats.

Low fares for ASEAN routes will be rolled out soon. The routes include Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta, Bangkok, Manila and Surabaya. Low fares from Penang to Singapore, Kota Kinabalu to Singapore, Langkawi to Singapore and Kuching to Singapore will also be offered.

Booking period for MAS’ zero fares is from May 5-19, 2008, for travel between June 10 and December 14, 2008. To book, log on to malaysiaairlines.com.
