Marriott to manage nine properties in S. Arabia

DUBAI – Marriott International will manage nine new properties in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia starting in 2010 under a recently concluded agreement with Fawaz Abdul Aziz Al-Hokair & Associates Hotel Company LLC.

The new hotels will be located in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Jubail and will represent the following Marriott International brands: The Ritz-Carlton Hotels, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Executive Apartments and Courtyard by Marriott. When opened, they will substantially increase Marriott’s presence in the Kingdom from three today to 12 properties.

Among the hotels included in the agreement are The Ritz Carlton Hotel and The Ritz Carlton Residences in Riyadh (2011); Dammam Marriott Hotel and Marriott Executive Apartments Damman (2011); Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments Mall of Arabia Jeddah (2011); Courtyard by Marriott Jeddah King Abdullah Street (2010); Courtyard by Marriott Olaya Street Riyadh (2010); and Courtyard by Marriott Jubail (2011).
