New GM joins the St. Regis Shanghai

SHANGHAI – The St. Regis Shanghai has appointed Amanda Elder as general manager. Elder previously worked in Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Australia and Thailand, as well as opening the first Starwood property in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She was most recently Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, Pacific based in Sheraton on The Park Sydney.

A native Australian, Elder has a bachelor's degree of Arts from Auckland University, New Zealand, majoring in English and Politics. She has nearly 20 years working experience in the hospitality industry.
