AF increases fuel surcharge anew

Daily news, 15 May 2008

PARIS – Due to the high level of fuel prices, Air France (AF) is increasing its fuel surcharge by EUR2 (US$3.10) per segment on domestic flights, by EUR4 (US$6.20) per segment on medium-haul flights and by EUR10 (US$15.50) per segment on long-haul flights.

This increase is valid on tickets for trips from France, issued as from 16 May 2008.

Half of this increase (i.e. EUR1 on domestic flights, EUR2 on medium-haul flights and EUR5 on long-haul flights) will be withdrawn as soon as the price of the barrel is stabilized over time below US$110.

The remainder of that increase will be withdrawn as soon as the price of the barrel is stabilized over time below US$105.
