MANILA – The Philippines’ Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 will begin handling 20 domestic flights per day on July 23 as part of a dry run of the facility.
The twenty domestic flights would be divided among Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines.
A government official said the dry run will provide an "actual with check and balance validation" of the respective operating systems of the participating carriers so that their passengers "will not be inconvenienced."
International operations are expected to commence six months later, or by February or March next year.
