Miora Resort + Spa will be the second of five properties LHI will flag in Thailand by the start of 2010, said LHI SVP for sales and marketing, Brett Butcher. Langham Place Eco Resort + Spa in Koh Lanta, Krabi, opened in 2005.

Miora will differentiate itself from the rest by being a “designer resort” with “designer villas and designer pool”.

Phuket is known for its beaches but LHI saw more that this strength. “Phuket is Asia’s resort capital because is has great culture, food, beaches and very accessible with direct flights from all of Europe and Asia,” said Butcher.
