JAL Hotels to open five-star property in Guangzhou

TOKYO – JAL Hotels Co Ltd is set to open the five-star Hotel Nikko Guanzhou, China in March 2010. This will be JAL Hotels' eighth hotel in China, following two hotels in Beijing, and one each in Dalian, Tianjin, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Wuxi. The Shanghai and Wuxi hotels are scheduled to open in 2009.

Hotel Nikko Guangzhou will be built in the newly developed Guangzhou Tianhe Software Park, located in the northeast area of Tianhe District in Guangzhou. This 13-story building will be a five-star international hotel, with 411 guest rooms, Japanese and Chinese restaurants, banquet rooms, a business centre and a fitness club.
