BANGKOK - The Tourism Authority of Thailand yesterday advised tourists and expats to avoid specific areas in Bangkok. These are Chamai Maruchat Bridge (Government House, Sanam Luang (Royal Garden) and Ratchadamnoen Road.
TAT said travel is possible to all points in the country.
A State of Emergency in the Kingdom was declared by Prime Minister Samak Sundarajev yesterday in response “to acts committed by certain groups which could lead to public disorder, affecting government administration and the general populace as well as posing a threat to the state.”
