BANGKOK- Thailand’s leading hotel group, Centara,Hotels & Resorts branches out in The Maldives for its first property outside the country.
Opening in May 2009, Centara Grand Island Resort and Spa, a unique Premium Four Star resort is located on South Ari Atoll. The resort is just 25 minutes via air transfer and 85 minutes by speedboat from the Male airport.
The resort is worth US$49 million (1.7 billion Baht) and is only the first of several projects being planned outside the country.
