SINGAPORE – Air France and KLM kicked off a competition on July 1st for travel agents in Singapore, with the island’s first F1 tickets as the prizes. There will be 10 prizes up for grabs with the first prize as a three-day pass at the Grand Stand.
Agencies that have achieved a minimum combined BSP sales of S$30,908 on AF and KL within the qualifying period have a chance at the lucky draw where they stand to win 10 tickets.
Said Anthony Lim, country manager, Air France and KLM, “This is something that is really unique because I think everybody was talking about the F1 and it has earned hype in the market. And for Air France & KLM, we do it as a means of appreciating the agents and we think it is rather special to conduct such a lucky draw for the agents to win something. We know that the ticket prices are expensive so this is something which is very exclusive.”
This is the first time for Air France and KLM to organise such a competition in the world. While currently only Singapore agents qualify there may be opportunities to expand the competition to other countries in the future.
Added Lim, “The response in the first week has been very promising. About 30 percent of the agencies now qualify for the draw.”
