Singapor:, Swissôtel Dresden Am Schloss (Swissôtel’s fourth property in Germany) will open its doors to guests in April 2012.
Set in the capital of Saxony, the hotel is right in the centre of the culturally rich Dresden, which has a long history as the royal residences of past kings. Situated within the painstakingly restored Neumarkt, Swissôtel Dresden forms part of the “8 Quarters” which have been reconstructed to give an outward appearance consistent with its rich heritage.
A few minutes’ walk from the Semper Opera, Zwinger Palace, as well as the world-renowned Frauenkirche, guests will be amazed by the architecture and the seamless convergence of the facade of the historical town to the Swiss hospitality and modern atmosphere within the hotel.
Featuring 214 Swiss Advantage rooms, 16 Grand rooms plus five elegant suites with various layouts and impressive views, guests can also relax at the 535m² wellness and fitness area, Pürovel Spa & Sport that incorporates an original vaulted cellar from the 15th century. Or head to the roof garden which boasts a bird’s eye view of Neumarkt’s gabled roofs.
